Getting ready for the Summer Games, the Beijing government has put some policies in place to spare us, the athletes and the fans the otherwise normal traffic jams on Beijing's streets. From the 20th of July, cars will be split up in 2 groups of oddly and evenly numbered license plates taking turns in hitting Beijing's roads. Also, you may have noticed the 5 Olympic rings painted on many main roads across town signifying that ordinary cars may not drive on the specified lanes also starting from the 20th of July. Happy travelling!
